Cali is on the Mend, Thanks to Friends!

“Cali” is on the mend, thanks to Friends! The Park reached out to Friends for assistance in funding a vet visit for the Park’s little kingsnake, who cropped up with a respiratory infection. This was an emergency as by the time you can tell a snake is sick, they are already pretty sick. The vet checked his heart, lungs, and gave him antibiotics for his condition and put in a feeding tube to jumpstart the snake’s metabolism. As a surprise bonus, the vet confirmed that Sweet Cali (thought to be a girl) is actually a boy. Three cheers to Mr. Cali!!!
