The First “Wetlands for the Summer: An Evening Lecture Series” Had a Packed House
The Thursday, June 11 event drew a record crowd!. Over 75 guests were there to experience “Bird Sounds of the Wetlands,” by lecturer Alex Harper, a biologist, birding guide, and educator based in Las Vegas. Alex explored a fascinating work of bird sounds at the Park. He also helped guests learn how to listen to birds communicating. By doing this, they learned how to deepen their connection to nature.
