Wetlands Art Day Saw Its Highest Visitor Attendance Ever

Raccoon Residence Banner

Over 848 people participated in this year’s Wetlands Art Day event–a record for Clark County Wetlands Park. Friends Chris Leavitt, Constance Carlson, Cats Sheely, and Anne Marie Lardeau, held down the “Raccoon Residence” table in the East Classroom. Raccoon Mask kits (produced by over a dozen Friends volunteers last November) and raccoon-themed buttons were produced and handed out until their stock was depleted. It was a great event–thank you all who made it happen. Photo credit: WP archives
