Friends Query Attendees on Plants for Gifts at BioBlast

“What compound in plants makes them green? Or how about “what did Native Americans use “arrow weed” for?” At Clark County Wetlands Park’s first-ever BioBlast April 29, the Friends team shared knowledge about the Park’s native plants and throw in surprise questions to attendees to answer for a gift! More than 620 people attended the event, many of whom went on to have a meal at a nearby Panda Express for Dine-O-Blast, Friends first fundraiser where a portion of the price of their meal was donated to Friends (more on that later)!
