Friends Provides Some Holiday Cheer to REI-Coop! 

Friends Board member Linda Wiltberger extended a much welcomed basket of Holiday treats to the staff of the REI store based in Henderson on Friday. Over the last two years the parent company’s foundation has provided invaluable funding in the form of grants to Friends. The monies have enabled Friends to contribute to Clark County Wetlands Park’s newly released Navigator app, along with purchasing sturdy, “branded” work gloves that are used at the Park’s volunteer clean up and planting events. Thank you REI, and thank you Friends members for helping to make all of this happen! Friends also plans to drop off a Holiday basket for the team at the REI Boca Park location in Summerlin.
