Friends March 1 Field Trip Was a Huge Success! 

Twelve Friends Members gathered at the Nevada State Museum/Las Vegas to see the special “Old Spanish Trail” exhibit and hear Museum Curator Joseph Diaz’s delightful talk on the subject. While the trail did not cross directly through the Park, it was a profound influence on the Las Vegas Valley. Friends Members were in agreement: the field trip was a success! Josef did a remarkable job sourcing unique pieces for the exhibit that really help tell the story. Thank you, Friends who attended our first Field Trip. Plans are already underway for the next field trip in the Fall. Stay tuned!
