Friends Is “Appreciated” at Clark County Wetlands Park Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Over 70 Park volunteers and staff braved yesterday’s chilly afternoon weather to attend the annual event held outside the Nature Center. Park Senior Program Administrator Liz Bickmore commended Friends for the work it has done for the Park and Friends President Chris Leavitt (photo above) accepted a Certificate of Appreciation. Ms. Leavitt also spoke of the Friends mission to support the goals of the Park. Friends Directors Cats Sheely (Special Projects) and Suzann Pruitt (Membership) greeted guests, fielded questions, and accepted organization memberships.
