Jim Boone Delights Guests at 2nd Lecture of Summer Series

Dr. Jim Boone, naturalist and educator, and creator of BirdandHike.com presented “Outstanding Hikes in Southern Nevada” as part 2 of 3 lectures hosted by Wetlands Park Friends and Clark County Wetlands Park, July 17 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Park’s Nature Center Auditorium.

Boone confirmed that Southern Nevada is a mecca for incredible hikes throughout the seasons, offering rich geologic, biological, and cultural experiences for those who choose to “follow the trail,” or “follow no trail at all.” Light refreshments were served. Fifty-two guests braved 110-degree F heat to attend the lecture in person, and nearly 20 others viewed the presentation via livestream.
