The Board Announces the Appointment of Keiko Moriyama as Director of Membership 

The Wetlands Park Friends Board announces the appointment of Keiko Moriyama to the position of Director of Membership. The former marketing consultant moved to Henderson from San Francisco to be near her father in 2012. When she retired from consulting in 2019, she said she knew it was time to volunteer. Upon discovering our “oasis in the middle of the desert,” she gravitated towards outdoor projects at the Park, such as “Wetlands Hands On” and Wetlands Walkers.

She said she became aware of the Friends organization over time and approached the Board late last year about her interest in getting involved. Your Friends welcome you and thank you, Keiko!
