Wildlife Repeat Friends/Park Guest Lecturer, Lauren MacLeod, Education Coordinator, Conservation Education Division of Nevada Department of Wildlife, will present, “Lizards of the Mojave Desert.” From racing across scorching sand to hiding in rocky crevices, Mojave Desert lizards have evolved some remarkable ways to survive. Discover the adaptations, behaviors, and ecological roles of the lizards found throughout the desert and learn more about the challenges these small but fascinating reptiles face in an ever-changing landscape.
