This lecture is bound to shed some curious details about the peculiar behavior and habits of the burrowing owl  From their quirky appearance and unique adaptations, desert habitat (above and below ground), migration patterns, and more, you are bound to learn something new!  The “family-friendly” program is open to the public and free of charge. Light refreshments will be served.

Rick Walker is an outdoor photographer and monitor of the Rainbow Owl Preserve in northwest Las Vegas. He is a retired professor from UNLV School of Dental Medicine.
